Jesus had compassion for people. He observed that they were doing life like sheep without a shepherd. Fear, confusion, and stupidity characterize shepherd-less sheep. And this gave Jesus emotional pain. And that pain prompted Him to take action. His action was His disciples... and us... ministering as workers in God's harvest field. Got compassion?

Identity. Who am I? You can't form or prove who you are from the outside in. You were created to express your identity from the inside out. You'll never answer the question 'who am I?' until you first answer the question 'who is Jesus?' He is the only one with the authority to tell you who you are.
