Why would an all-loving and an all-powerful God allow suffering? Could it be that He isn't loving enough to stop it, or He isn't powerful enough to stop it? How does this argument square with the Bible? Are there any sort of answers to such questions?

The average lifespan in the first century was around 40 years. In John 5 Jesus healed a cripple at the Pool of Bethesda that had been laying there for 38 years, basically his entire life. It is an incredible account that speaks so deeply to us today in the areas of our lives that need the healing power of Jesus. We ALL need His healing! The question is... Do you want to get well?

To devote someplace or someone to a particular purpose... a particular purpose. What are you living for? If you aspire to live above the line, you must be consecrated to the greatest purpose; that of the Lord Jesus Christ. Too many professing Christians live compromising lives, rather than consecrated ones. A life like Samson's from Judges 13, shows us the dire consequences of desecration flying in the face of consecration.
